Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers
This policy describes how the CNP KPI Pipeline (the "App") collects, uses, stores and shares information. The App is an internal reporting tool built and operated by the Company for its own use. It is not offered to the public, is not listed in any app marketplace, and has no users other than the Company's own personnel.
2. What the App does
Once a week, the App reads summary financial figures from the Company's own QuickBooks Online account and from the Company's own point-of-sale and guest-feedback systems, and writes those figures into a private spreadsheet owned by the Company. It is read-only with respect to QuickBooks: it never creates, edits or deletes anything in the Company's accounting records.
3. Information the App accesses
From QuickBooks Online, through Intuit's API, the App retrieves Profit & Loss report totals for a given week — aggregated amounts for sales, cost-of-goods and wage accounts. It does not retrieve customer records, vendor records, individual employee records, bank account numbers, invoices, or any other transaction-level data.
The App does not collect any information about visitors to this website, and it does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
4. How we use the information
The figures are used solely to prepare the Company's internal weekly performance summary, reviewed by Company management. They are not used for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to managing the Company's business.
5. Where the information is stored
- The App runs on a computer owned and controlled by the Company.
- The figures it produces are written to a private Google Sheet owned by the Company and shared only with Company management and staff who need it.
- Access credentials for QuickBooks Online (OAuth tokens) are stored on that Company-controlled computer in files restricted to the Company's account, and are never transmitted anywhere other than to Intuit to authenticate requests.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade any information obtained through the App. The only third parties that process it are the service providers whose platforms the App uses to operate:
- Intuit (QuickBooks Online) — the source of the accounting figures, governed by Intuit's own terms and privacy policy.
- Google (Google Sheets) — where the resulting summary is stored, governed by Google's terms and privacy policy.
We will disclose information if required to do so by law or legal process.
7. Retention
Weekly summary figures are retained in the Company's spreadsheet for as long as the Company keeps its historical performance records. QuickBooks access tokens are retained only while the App remains connected and are deleted when the connection is revoked.
8. Security
Access to the computer running the App, to the credentials it uses, and to the resulting spreadsheet is limited to authorized Company personnel. All communication with Intuit and Google takes place over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
9. Disconnecting the App
The Company can revoke the App's access to QuickBooks Online at any time from the QuickBooks Apps page (My Apps → CNP KPI Pipeline → Disconnect), or by contacting us at the address below. Revoking access invalidates the stored tokens immediately.
10. Children
The App is a business tool and is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
